did not pick up vehicle

We were told on the phone that usual pick-up and ship was 5-10 days give or take some. After things stretched out to 3 weeks without a vehicle we decided to cancel the service. Every time we spoke with the company we got a story about how there were several drivers in the area. However no one could ever take our car. Oftentimes our messages were not returned. At one call when we were able to get a representative we were told we could get our deposit back due to them not being able to find someone to take our car. Service was cancelled on July 11, 2006. We flew back to Phoenix and drove it back to Virginia ourselves over the weekend. It is now the end of August and we still have not had our deposit credited back for services not received. In addition we had bills for the cross country fuel bill and the airline tickets to fly back to Phoenix, not to mention time lost. We have now left multiple messages asking for our deposit to be returned and have not been called back. I finally reached a representative who told me I needed to call when Sheri the owner was in. He would not take my name and number so I could leave a message. He told me I needed to call back until I was able to reach her. I will try to contact her a few times. If I do not make this contact I will contact the credit card company to deny the bill. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. The most disturbing part is the difficulty in reaching the company during business hours and the lack of return calls when you leave a message. In addition to this the story about "drivers in the area" got a bit difficult to hear over and over with no results. The company has also told me they do not have the ability to look up our account by our names which again is somewhat strange. They apparently can only do this by looking up the cities of transport or using an account number. I am very interested in hearing their rebuttal and look forward to the return of my $160 deposit for services not received.
