Regarding Very Poor and Unsatisfactory Service

BMA Transports LLC is owned and operated by a fellow named Tamusz. From the very beginning I got VERY poor service from him over the phone, which should have been a clue as to not do business with him. I was referred to him via Momentum Transports, which is another poor choice in auto transports. Tamusz was often reluctant to pick up the phone when it came to scheduling and he could not give me a steady timeline as to when he would be at the place to pick up my vehicle. What was suppose to be a 4-6 hour window of pick-up ended up being nearly 9 hours and he did not call me to give me an update. At that time, I was moving out of my current place of residence and I had to hand over my keys over to the leasing office because I was moving from West Palm Beach, FL to Rocky Hill, CT. The guy finally came and called me and when he started to load my vehicle, he nearly forgot to write down the mileage on my vehicle. He was sweating up a storm because of the heat and he ended up staining my charcoal black leather interior pretty badly. Unfortunately, the insurance doesn't really cover interior damage as no one is driving the vehicle and opening a case would have been a next to impossible case with these insurance companies. The worst is yet to come...

Apparently, he made it to CT 3 days before the time he said that he would arrive. Now they have a policy that they can arrive up to 24 hours prior or after the target date due to emergencies and such. I kept calling him and he wouldn't answer his phone. He finally called me when I was on the plane to Philadelphia since I would be getting a ride to CT to receive my car on the intended date of delivery. He calls me back and says that he is in NJ on a return trip back to FL, and I ask him why he isn't going to CT, and he says that he already went there but no one was there to pick up the vehicle. HE DIDN'T EVEN CALL TO MAKE SURE OR CONFIRM! All-in-all my only consolation was that my car got near to the intended destination, along the Jersey Turnpike since I had to make other arrangements to pick up the car since he wasn't going to drive it back up to CT. Please do yourself a favor and just stay away from Momentum Auto Transports. They entrust their clients to very unscrupulous, callous, and unprofessional sub-contractors who could care less for your vehicle. Thank goodness this site offers good customer reviews.
