I would be very careful about the timing of the 1st available pick up date. I was moving out of the state and had planned for my car to leave by a certain date, but I had to continuously pressure AutoStar to find a carrier that would pick up my car before I left the state by plane. I had never shipped my car before and I was very stressed out until my car was picked up. But after my car was picked up, it was delivered on time and in good condition. Although AutoStar transport was good, I would recommend finding an actual carrier that you can work directly with, rather than a booking company.
