Communication with courier needs work

It was my first time to avail this service and I'd say the price i paid for the delivery is just right. Ara, the courier was very creative in coming up with ways to deliver my car in the safest manner possible and he was able to entertain every question I had about the delivery. However, I just need to voice out a few major points concerning the mishaps I encountered during the pickup: 1. The updates made to the system were not relayed to the courier. - When i placed this order, i told Sam where i'd like to have my car picked up at my apartment complex in Gainesville, Florida but I wasn't sure about the drop-off destination so I had it set to Chandler, Arizona. Around 3-4 days before the pickup date, I asked the representative to update my pickup address and destination because the pick-up address was wrong and I had finalized my accommodation at Arizona. The changes were indeed reflected in the system, but come the pickup date the pickup and drop-off addresses the driver had was still the same as the wrong one I told Sam in my first call. It was a good thing the courier decided to have me bring the car over to a shopping complex with plenty of maneuvering space for the truck. 2. Estimated time of delivery Two days before the delivery date, I asked the representative when I can expect my car to arrive at the drop-off at Arizona. He said that he doesn't know and it's something I have yet to confirm with the courier. The courier called me the next day reminding me of the pick up time but he didn't give me any heads up on the estimated delivery time. On the day of the pick up, the courier told me that my car will arrive 3 days hence, on Monday. I told him that I won't be arriving in Arizona until Wednesday and asked if the company has a place in Arizona where they could keep my car until I'm ready to pick it up. He told me there's no such thing and that I have to find an address to drop off my car right away or he won't proceed with the delivery. Shocked, I scrambled to call every person I know in Arizona and it's a good thing I got in touch with one of my future colleagues, had to call them in the middle of work for permission to have my car dropped off at their apartment. The trepidation didn't end there because the driver had to see if his truck will have enough clearance for turning and no low hanging obstacles that could damage 72 feet worth of automobiles he was carrying with him. He approved and thankfully my car made it to Arizona in good condition. It would be helpful if the auto transport company could have an idea of the shortest lead time the cars could be delivered because the whole time i was confident I was gonna arrive ahead of my car because the net told me car deliveries usually take 7-10 days. These are points that need improvement. Other than that, I would avail this service again should I be relocated to another place.
