I had used DAS a couple of times in the past, and they were great.
for this move, DAS gave me a quote of $743, and these guys quoted $695, so I decided to give them a try.
mistake.
when booking, I was told by debbie that the pickup would be in approximately 7-10 days.
they immediately charged my card for the $195 deposit.
and then... nothing.
as the days and weeks went by, I emailed debbie a number of times, and received no reply.
after three weeks, I sent faxes saying that I wanted my money back.
I ultimately got a man I assume was the owner on the phone, and he informed me that, if they couldn't schedule my move within 21 working days, they'd refund my money back.
I booked the move on 16 april, and I had to wait an entire month just to have them cancel my move.
if you are going to hire this company, be very clear on how they can proceed.
the fine print says that they are justified in taking the $200 deposit from you no matter what happens.
you, like I, can be sitting there for a month... and still not have the car picked up!

Due to the high cost of diesel fuel, the normal movement of vehicles in transit on carriers has slowed dramatically. We have no control over this situation & certainly take no pleasure in the difficulties it has caused our valuable customers. Having said that, Mr. Croncata chose the least expensive level of service, normally sufficient, but not at these difficult times. ASA contributed its own funds several times, on mr. Croncata,s behalf as incentive to secure a driver. ASA did in fact secure a driver & accomplished dispatch on the same day Mr. Croncata cancelled.
