we agreed that the car was going to be picked up from florida on june/10/2011, but unfortunately things happen as in they never gave a time frame for pick up, so it was changed to the following day. the auto was supposed to be picked up no later then twelve june 11th. i get a call from the towing company ( sub-contracted ) stating that he was just notified about the car ( just NOW) and it is for $1,499 for next day pick up. he increased the price from the original $1,299, and wasn't picking it up on the day it was scheduled. he tried to tie my hands by threatening ( blackmail) that i had no option but to agree with his price and terms. in conclusion the contract i made was for $1299 for june 10 pick up, but with so many lies and deceptions they want me to be okay with them picking up on june 12 at a higher price that i did not agree upon. the contract i signed was completely changed. i will most likely file a complaint with pay-pal for my $100 deposit and try to get another towing company to pick up the car. i am renting out my sister car for work and school and i asked if there was an immediate shipping date which they told me for $100 more they can pick it up on the 10th. ( price went from $1,199 to $1,299). now am i looking at paying way more then agreed, because they are trying scam me and i have to consider rental payments for longer term. i will need another towing company to pick up the car, which will now push back the delivery date, which has become a financial strain in many aspects.
