To make this story short...
a) I was quoted 2100 with a 500 Safeway gift cerficate because I was a teacher and on their website they say they give educators a gift card and per telephone conversations they said they would give me the gift card. Once I gave them a 300+ down payment, they inform me they screwed up and the total cost would be around 2900. My trip was a two part trip: From Dallas to Seattle on a semi and then from Seattle to Anchorage on a Ferry. They said the ferry was the issue and that is why the price went up. I told them to cancel the ferry and just get my car to Seattle. They said ok and would refund me 190 dollars since I was not using them for the second part of my trip. This was almost a MONTH ago, and I have yet to see my refund or my gift card.
B) While on the phone with Grettle, she said she was talking to the driver on the other phone and she gave me his name and number. I call the driver, and he has no idea who I am or what I am talking about. I call Grettle back and she tells me to call disbatch, they can't get ahold of the driver either but promise me my car will be picked up that day or the next. After calling repeatedly I finally get fed up and tell disbatch "If you aren't going to pick up my car , then just tell me because I leave for Alaska TOMORROW and it MUST be picked up"...they tell me, "Fine, cancell it then and they hang up on me."
c) I call Grettle back and she gives me the name and number of another trucker. I ask her when she was going to refund my money because I needed it to book the ferry. (mind you..they sucked my money out of my bank account THAT day, and she told me it would be 10 days before they could refund it). It has now been a MONTH and I have not seen the money..or the gift card....
d) So, the trucker calls me and picks up my car the next day. My car arrived safely in Seattle. I would highly recommend American Eagle Transport: Patrick. (Also, between some conversation in there with Patrick and Around the Globe...I call Grettle and they say Grettle is not there, yet when Patrick calls me immediately back, he tells me he just talked to her at Around the Globe.

Around the Globe does NOT know what they are doing, there is no communication, they steal your money and lie to you. I will be calling a lawyer, the state attorney general and the better business b tomorrow! Like I said...I made this LONG story SHORT!!
