I went to las vegas on vacation, found a cheap rust free truck on 2nd to last day of vacation, thought i would ship it home to restore another truck. So time of when it got to me was absolitly no issue. So i took the low ball offer of $850.00 from American Pride Autoride (las vegas - westernmass) after 2 weeks i hadn't heard anything so i called and they were friendly and offered me (sort of) a 75.00 doller bonous to my contract? Later I finally figured out that was to be paid as insentive to my car carrier to sweeten the pot, entice sombody to haul it.
That was ok I was just looking to get my rust free truck and wasn't in a hurry.
Another week goes bye and now they say i should add a little more of my money to entice a carrier, so i add 75.00 and to make long story short a week later another 75.00.
So today after being as calm and fair as i can be I called for a semi prompt refund.I was told it will take up to two weeks.
I started this contract with them on 28 april 08 canceled it 9 june 08.
REMEMBER YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. It sucks, gas prices are high, but if these guys want to mislead you, and after reading this you still choose them, well stupid is as stupid does!
