When I finally decided to ship my car, I was inundated with offers from many companies. The range of quotes, long contracts and the different fees for different dates was really daunting and made me want to reconsider. I also realized that with most companies I may be waiting for up to a month before they could ship my car and that you would have to be on call for pick up. It seemed most all companies wanted to charge you extra for narrowing down the pick up window.
I'm so glad that I chose American Auto. First, the quote they gave me was very reasonable and one of the lower ones I received. It was such a competitive rate, I was worried it was too good to be true. But it was the final rate! What they quoted me was what I paid! That was the total cost and there were no hidden fees.
I really appreciated working with Dianne, who was very trustworthy and prompt. She really made the whole process easy and effortless for me. She was straightforward and really I can't speak highly enough of her. American Auto picked up my car within a couple of days and didn't charge me extra even though I have no doubt other companies would have. The carriers I dealt with were friendly too. I'd highly recommend this company and should I ever need to transport another vehicle I would use this company. I didn't have to worry about a thing and it was such a burden lifted off my shoulders!
