First at all you had contract with TRANSPORT SERVICES for the transport of your 1957 chevy belair -INOPERABLE- from Forth Smith,Ar to El Paso,Tx.Which has the deal with the broker we didn't know.We booked this car to transport for $700.
When the driver arrived nearby pick up point he could not reach that point because was a nero street and with a big semi it has impossible to make the turn on that particular street. In this case because was an INOPERABLE car the only way to bring the car at the truck was to hire a towing company to bring the car to the truck. The towing company charged $ 65 for this service.
At the destination point the driver asked the payment for the transport $ 700 plus $ 65 the payment for the service done by the towing company at the pick up point.
When the customer , with his local team, unload the car from our trailer they dropped the car and DAMAGED IT -THEMSELVES, it was not our fault. We remind you that we are talking about an old car, rusty, without brakes, steering or anything only the shell and the wheels.
Maybe the tone of the discussion at the delivery point was improper and we apologize for that but we did not understood why in this particular case - when the truck could not reach a point for objective reasons - we must support the payment for the towing company service.Usually the customer is the one who paid for services done for his car.
After all you agreed to pay for that service and,you gave the driver $ 765 and this was the ending of the story.
We didn't told you that we will refund $30 .
We apologize again for the improper tone ( to high sometimes) of the discussion in EL Paso ,Tx but we strongly believe that you can not solve a problem with force ( " I almost had to punch him ").
Another thing we transport your car in 3 days not in 5 days liked you declared.
