This customer opted for the economy saver standby rate. At this rate there is no promise or guarantee when a car will be picked up. It is for those who want a bargain price and who are not pressed for time. Normally we expect pickup within 7 days after the vehicle availability date. That happens for 70% of our customers. Should no carrier have a spot available at this rate we encourage customers to add more money to their vehicle in order to provide an incentive for carriers to accept the load. It would still be less than the next package that guarantee pickup within 5 work days. This customer was not prepared to go any higher with his rate and therefore had to wait for a carrier that would have been prepared to ship it at the posted rate. We apologize for not being able to satisfy the customer and we are happy that another company was able to assist with the shipment.
