I chose Amerifreight because of their rating and the number of positive reviews. I chose 2 other companies by the same criteria and Amerifreight was the first to respond and they responded promptly and very personably. Bob was up front, explained the process from start to finish and gave me step by step instructions verbally and in writing. I am quick to respond so I really appreciate that in others. I signed off on the economy option. It took a couple of weeks before I heard back from Amerifreight with a carrier. I had started to wonder how long it would take because I didn't ask the average time for them to find a carrier. When I did get a call I was told that the carrier wanted more money. I agreed to an increase but not to the amount that the carrier wanted. Amerifreight offered to help with the increase the carrier wanted in order to expedite the transport. I got a call from Amerifreight when my sales director couldn't be reached. He had possession of the car we were moving from NH to IA. I quickly got him on the phone and he agreed that he could work with the 3hr window the carrier wanted to complete pickup in. Everything went well. The sales director noted that the driver did note every ding on the car but acknowedged the need for it. The driver did have a breakdown which delayed delivery. He called to try to deliver the car as soon as possible. Delivery was smooth and my people noted that the driver was very nice. I would use Amerifreight again.
