Bottom Line: Ameri-Freight did a great job in arranging the transport, but the subsidiary left something to be desired.
Ameri-Freight was a very professional in the organizing of the shipment and worked diligently with me to coordinate last minute changes.
However, the Silver Fox Transport asked for a change of pick-up location only two hours before the pick-up of the Bronco and it happened to be about 35 minutes north of the previously designated Target parking lot in the Oakland area. Though the driver did eventually drive me back into the San Jose area to catch the busing route I had predetermined in order to get home, it was a bit of an inconvenience and seemed unnecessary.
Though the driver did cover the vehicle with the car-cover that I purchased and set in the cab ahead of time, it still arrived with small oil marks of some type that I was able to rub out with windex. Also, and most annoyingly, the driver failed to take into account the time change from Chicago to Cincinnati and told both myself and my brother, who was taking custody of the Bronco, that he was on time only to find out that his failure to attend to the time change forced my brother to wait an additional 1.5 hours extra on his arrival.
In the end, Ameri-Freight did a great job getting things arranged, and especially at the last minute, but the Silver Fox Transport is certainly not the preferred company to work with if given a choice.
