Initially I contacted a larger transport company out of the Midwest to ship my brand new Jeep Wrangler from N.C. to Jackson Hole, WY. After 8 days of searching and no commitment to pick up the vehicle I decided to go with a smaller and more personal carrier which is how I found Dave at Alpine.

After explaining my situation he quickly came up with a 3 day pick-up window followed by a 3 day drop-off window. I was quite apprehensive based on my experience with the first transport company who had left me hanging for a week and badgered Dave several times because I really needed the vehicle in Wyoming.

He patiently fielded my questions and followed up with more information than was required which really put me at ease because it was clear Dave was personally involved and monitoring the situation.

Additionally, the driver was very good at touching base prior to pick up and drop off. The driver who picked up the vehicle in N.C. Was the driver who dropped it in Wyoming.

The only glitch, and it was pretty minor: I expected door to door service but had to deliver the vehicle to a shopping center near my home on pick up day. On the delivery end, the driver parked about a mile away and drove my vehicle to our location and I dropped him back at his rig. All in all an very minor inconvenience. It wasn't even an inconvenience - just a slight variation from what I expected. The driver explained that they try to avoid lower hanging branches and tight turns inherent in residential neighborhoods which makes sense to me.

My Jeep arrived in Wyoming in the middle of the promised delivery window, dirty, but with no damage and no extra miles on the odometer.

I highly recommend Dave and Alpine Transport, Inc., He was honest, knowledgeable, provided great follow up all at a reasonable cost. I will use him again to move other vehicles.

Dave, Wow, what a great testimonial and I'm definitely not afraid of the wild, wild west! I appreciate that you've shared your experience and the 5 Star Review. Once again there's far too many large and small brokers out there overly promising and under delivering and it all comes down to they don't price the transport correctly upfront because they either don't know what they are doing or don't have the relationships out there that we do to actually get the job done. I work with a lot of very top notch professional carriers just like us to make these tough routes to places like Jackson Hole, WY happen. But it all starts with properly assesing the situation and accurately pricing it in the beginning. After that it's all about providing great communication with as many updates as the customer needs along the way. I wish all vehicles could be delivered right to the customer's front door but the drivers have to be safe, legal and not damage the vehicles being transported to be a successful transport, I'm glad you understand.
