I got about a dozen of quotes from two sites before I made a decision. Prices from $625 to $900. I checked Transport Reviews and eliminated the low bidder due to poor reviews. Allegiance told me on Thursday it would be about 3 days before they could get someone to pick up the vehicle, which was fine with me. It was Labor Day Weekend. Was notified on Friday that they had directed the car to Infinity Auto Express. Was quite surprised on Friday night that Bob from Infinity said he would be here in an hour! Was glad to see that he had Franked Stationary with Infinity on it. He inspected the car and noted any dings, etc and had me initial. I asked if he needed the Money Order made out to him; he said no, make it to Infinity, which I also liked. I was told by some other firms that I had to make it to the driver. He said he would be in Austin late Monday or Tuesday. He didn't get there until Thursday afternoon, but my daughter said everything was fine with the car and the transaction. Overall it was a good experience, but a bit harrowing due to the short front end and longer than expected ending. In the end it was a 6 day process, which was adequate for my purposes. BTW I had my daughter give the Money Order on delivery, not when the vehicle was picked up. Allegiance took their part out by Credit Card upfront.
