This was the first time I had ever had a vehicle of any type transported let alone a vintage aluminum hull boat, so I was naturally a bit apprehensive. I expected things to happen right away and they didn't, so I called Michael at ACT and he explained to me that it sometimes a few days for things to fall in place.
He needed to find the right transporter with the proper equipment that could do the job timely. A couple of days later things started to happen. A pick-up date was set, a delivery date was predicted. The boat was actually picked-up a day earlier than scheduled which was alright and it arrived on the day scheduled. It arrived in exactly in the same condition as it left in. As explained to me by Michael, the transporter called the day before delivery to let me know about when they would arrive. They came on time with up-to-date truck and trailer, were very polite and professional, and unloaded the boat safely.
Both Michael at ACT and the transport crew were helpful and professional. The quote price was considerably lower than a couple other quotes I had received, so overall I was very pleased and would recommend ACT. Mike Carter southern Illinois
