I decided to use the Freightcenter.com after I did an extensive online price search for a jet ski I needed transported from the dealer to my home. I got an excellent quote based on the information provided from the dealer on the weight, size, and dimensions of the crate and the jet ski. I decided to purchase the transport trough them and gave them my credit card. The cost was near $350. A month later I received another bill for $560 that I needed to pay for the transport. I called and asked why, and they claimed that the actual weight of the item was more than what was given over the phone- now, it is important to note that their representative spoke with the dealership on a three-way call to get the information from the dealer- and that I need to pay the difference. I disagreed as I felt I was being ripped off. So, the company decided that they have every right to go ahead and charge my credit card AGAIN for the difference. So, now I am in a long and cumbersome process to dispute this charge from my bill with my credit card company. What I can say is- DO NOT USE this company, as they are lying to you just to get you ship with them, and then suddenly you get a huge bill in the mail. If I knew this was the case I would have use other company (and there are so many) that offered me much lower total rate than what I ended up paying with these thieves. Unfortunately, only after this happened I read online and I saw so many complaints against this company and so many bad reviews that if I knew earlier I would definitely not use them, but it is too late for me. I hope this information will prevent someone else of making the bad choice I did.
