I needed my car to be shipped from Connecticut to California so I called ASAP to handle this for me. The customer service representative was extremely generous and told me that it would take approximately 7-10 days for my car to be picked up and that I could always conveniently check the status of my order on their website.

This was definitely not the case. After many disgruntled phone calls and weeks of waiting, they finally came to pick up my automobile more than a MONTH AFTER my original pick up date. And when the carrier did come, it was really frustrating because he was lost and couldn't speak English very well. I tried giving him directions, but I guess he just couldn't understand what I was saying. Eventually after 2 hours of attempting to communicate with this gentleman, he tells me that he does not want to drive around anymore and for me to bring my car to him. One Problem: IF HE DOESNT KNOW WHERE HE IS, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW??

Eventually, after MANY frustrating hours, I get a phone call from ASAP Auto Shipping and they were SO RUDE. I felt as if the customer service representative I was talking to was a 10 year old. They kept making these degrading comments and were very unreasonable. She now claimed taht the carrier was physically unable to come to my apartment (which is not true, the roads nearby my apartment are pretty big and the parking lot is huge) and that they would be contacting a local towing company to have my car towed to the carrier. Out of frustration, I conceded and so a towing truck came, but when we went to bring my car to the carrier, THE CARRIER HAD ALREADY LEFT! I had so many questions and at this point, I was furious. I called ASAP to have some of these questions answered, but they couldn't give me a straight answer and kept saying this was my fault! UNBELIEVABLE! The people working at ASAP were almost impossible to communicate with.

In the end, my car was eventually shipped, but it took SIX HOURS. What a NIGHTMARE.

And to add salt to the wound, just today I received a call from the carrier saying that my car will be arriving tomorrow, but they are charging me more than the original price quote. That is so unethical.

TO ALL OF THOSE CONSIDERING USING ASAP AUTO SHIPPING...BEWARE!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT THE TYPE THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!

We placed an order for Jeffrey on June 15,2005 to have a car moved. Like most customers he stated he was not in a rush to get the car and wanted the cheapest rate. We stated to him that we had a 7-10 day average pickup that was not guaranteed. After about 14 business days we dispatched a driver to his vehicle. Jeffrey was already in CA and had left the pickup to one of his
