Damage!

Vehicle was transported from VA to CA by company. My Vehicle arrived severely damaged and I immediately contacted my POC for the transport. She asked me to send her pictures of the damages which I did and since then, nothing has been done in their part to fix damages. I am being told they don't know how the damages happened and they are sorry for the inconvenience. I had my insurance company come out and asset the damages and they concluded my vehicle is a total loss. This is not an option for me. I have before and after photos which clearly show the damage was not present when I gave AMKO possession of my vehicle. They have not even sent anyone out to look at the damages, as if they don't care and are trying to sweep it under the rug. I still had to pay a total of $950 for the transport for my vehicle to arrive with $3700 worth of damage. I noted all damages on the delivery paper prior to the driver leaving, which showed the extreme differences between then pick-up and drop-off discrepancies. It has been nearly 2 weeks since this has happened with no progress or attempt for rectification from AMKO

Hi Patricia. We thank you for your business and your feedback. I apologize that we could not do more for you. We have strict terms and conditions because our trailers are all open. Any damages caused by external sources are not covered. We understand your frustration- having a reliable source of transportation is important. We will take your feedback and work on finding a way to make our claims terms more satisfactory for all parties. Thank you.
