Bad experience. Jake's quote was not the lowest but was on the low side for an enclosed carrier. I was a little concerned my car would not be picked up for a while at that quote. So I had not agreed to anything yet. I was actually looking for and willing to pay for a top shelf carrier when Jake called me on the weekend to confirm the car was ready to go. When I said it was, he went into his sales pitch. He stated he knew which truck my car would be on and if I gave him my credit card # I would definetly have pickup on Fri or Sat. When I asked him the drivers name he first gave me the name Tom but then stated it could be a different driver because he wasn't sure. He said he would know which driver on Tues and the driver would definetly call and let me know. He reiterated that he knew exactly which truck so it was a sure thing. He even went on to tell me it's a 3 car trailer and about the specific car that would be in front and behind mine and even where the other car was going.
Tuesday comes and not a call. I did get an email providing 3 phone numbers to call and an email address for Jake. I left 4 voicemails and sent 1 email and got no response. I did talk to the second contact Jake provided but he also said he would have Jake call me, but nothing. I finally contacted Chris, the owner and he had Jake call me. Hours later, late at night, Jake did call. He said hello and said he would call me back in 5 mins and hung up. (Yes, he called me just to say he would call me!) and NO he did not call me back.
I make no statement that AAATRansporters are scam artitst or thieves. To date, (they do have my credit card #) I have not lost any money. I have lost valuable days in getting my car moved because I comitted my business to them and they did nothing in return.
I do believe Jake over exagerated many elements to get me to commit my business. Certainly past my line of ethical. I won't say illegal. I was sucked into believing he could deliver what he told me so confidently he would. He was wrong. The next day, after many phone calls, I finally got a hold of Jake. I called him out on not calling me back. He just said "well?" Then he said, "I won't waste anymore of your time. Have a nice day" and that was that. Days lost and not even an apology for the exagerations. If you choose to use them, good luck.
I would not trust this company to deliver to their comittments even if just as simply because they don't return phone calls nor do they call when they say they would.

I agree with much of what was written by the client. I honestly believe there was no intended deception and Jake had a Trucker lined up. The trucker was looking for additional cars to fill his load. My contract and emails reference my contact information to clients if they are having any issues with Truckers or my associates. I wish Brian had utilized my number earlier in the process and not losing as much time as he did. We strive hard and although we have systems in place something was missing in this case. I will correct the website to reflect my contact information in the case needed and all communication will refence my numbers as well BIG and BOLD> My appologies to the client for the lack of communication on his transport.
