A1 Auto Transport is synonomous with nightmare and anger. Let me begin by saying that I had no idea that any of these issues existed with A1 until I started researching more about them. My first concern came when the "7 to 10 day delivery assurance was into the 6th day and I made a call to A1 to get a status since I didn't have internet access at my new house and customer service told me that they hadn't even picked up the car from my house. I begged to differ with the lady and she became hostile and finally changed it in their system to show that it had been picked up. At that point I asked where the car was located and she said she would have to have someone call me back; that didn't happen. I called back the next day and began the call and put on eternal hold or no one is able to take your call routine.

I finally asked to talk to someone in charge and the rudest and bravest soul on the other end of a telephone by the name of Tony Taylor got on the line and instead of trying to get a situation worked out with courtesy, started off the conversation with "HOW MUCH OF MY TIME IS THIS GOING TO TAKE?" I replied "it depends on you and your solution skills", he repeated the same thing and I just asked him to resolve the missing car and try giving me a status , pretty please. To make a long story short this was now week 2 and 1/2. If they would have been up front with me and told me it was going to take 30 days or 40 or however many, I would have gone elsewhere. To put salt in the wound, my brand new 2004 Acura TSX came back a wreck with dents and scratches on the front and back bumpers, front drivers side fender and 2 wheels that have been scratched all in all $1,664 worth of damage not including the rental car charges while the dealership is fixing the car.

After having many conversations with the U.S. DOT and the California Attorney General, there is mounting evidence to go after this company to at least get them to change their ways or close them down. I think the true reason nothing is being done about this company and other companies like it, most people have been put through such a wringer that once they get their car, they are so exhasted and disgusted that all they want to do is just get on with ther lives and most people don't have the resources to begin a campaign.

I hope that this review falls into the hands of at least one individual that is shopping for auto transport-Caveat Emptor of A1 Auto Transport! Don't turn and run but sprint from these guys.
