Early pickup with no option to reschedule

Note:The service from Kimberley Freiley was 5-star, since I am not sure how much she can do to reset schedules.

Having said that, the pickup from Houston was 2 days earlier than requested. I had requested a pickup for the 11th Monday but the trucker called to say they could only do 9th Saturday because the truck "had to be in Austin on Saturday evening". I asked what my options were if I still wanted pickup on the 11th and I was told that I would have to cancel the order and find a new trucker. Well, I obviously wasn't prepared to wait up to 10 more days to find a new trucker so I had to cancel some last minute engagements over the weekend to get my car ready for pickup. I had specifically requested while placing the order that the car should NOT reach the destination before the 16th since that was the day I was flying to the destination. But the trucker said he was going straight to the destination after leaving Texas and that it would reach there by the 12th...and that there was no way to delay it to the 16th. Not only did I have to make alternate arrangements for the shipping destination but also for the payment of a $1000 that was due at the destination. This was inconsiderate and sloppy especially since I had specifically requested a delivery AFTER the 16th. Thankfully there was no damage to the car but even if there was, I wouldn't have been present at the destination to verify it. I did not appreciate the inflexibility of the trucker especially since the change in schedule was entirely from the trucker and not from me.
