I would hesitate at using Get It Done for my car moving needs. I say this for a few reasons....
1) The car was picked up 3 days early, initially this was not a problem. It was supposed to be picked up on a Monday but instead was picked up the Friday before. At first I thought great I'll get it a few days early. On Saturday I realized that I needed the cash on hand if he were to arrive late Sunday but my bank was already closed at that time, and the ATM will not allow that much cash to be withdrawn in one day. I called Dave at Get It Done but there was no answer, I left a message but didn't get a call back that day. Nor did I get any information as I was told I would get from them upon pick-up of the vehicle. Now came the scramble to come up with the cash. I got the driver's phone number from my brother as the car was left with him for the pick up. I called the driver on Sunday as I would have all the cash by the afternoon only to find he had not even left New England yet! So my car was on the truck since Friday and not even on it's way...it wouldn't be in my hands until Thursday. Hardly the 2-3 days from pick up I was promised.
2) On Monday another phone call to Get It Done and no answer. I decide to send an e-mail instead of leaving a message. again no reply to that either.
3) Thursday morning comes and goes no call from anyone as to when the car will arrive. Around noon I decide to call the driver as I have to go to work later in the afternoon. The response I get is "oh I was going to call you, I had problems with my brakes and I'm having trouble getting someone to fix them. I won't be there til Saturday or Sunday." Now I understand things can go wrong with any vehicle, but while your waiting for someone to fix the vehicle I would think you would have time to call either the customer or at least the company that hired you for the transport to let them know the situation. So I call Get It Done and this time Dave answered the phone. I explain to him what has happened up to this point, the early pick up, the break down etc...his response was the driver should have called me right away and there is no excuse for his lack of communication. I then say that there has been a lack of communication from his people too and he apologizes. He then tells me he is out of the office and as soon as he gets back he'll find out what's going on and see what he can do. He'll call me back shortly he promises.
4) Friday afternoon still haven't heard from Get It Done, 2 p.m. I call to find out what Dave has heard, again no answer. I now send an e-mail asking how much I should deduct from the price for the fact I have no vehicle still and no reply as promised. Within minutes my phone rings! Dave tells me the driver never called him back the day before, he just spoke to him moments ago and assures me the car will be there by Sunday, and the driver will call me Saturday to let me know when he'll meet me on Sunday. The driver also agreed to take $100 off the price because of the whole mess.
5) Sunday morning at 8:31 my phone rings, the driver is at the corner of my street, the car is unloaded and can I meet him there......?!!
My car arrived safely, quite untimely, and with a total lack of deserved communication, what do you think?

John, I sincerely apologize for the delay in the delivery of you vehicle but the reason why was explained. the driver had his brake calipers lock up on his truck (he is lucky to be alive) and being Thanksgiving weekend MOSTLY ALL mechanics were closed so he had to wait til Monday for them to be open, they order the parts had him fixed by next day Tues. and he was on the road. I have no problem with accepting responsibility for your vehicle being delayed which is why I gave had the driver discount you 100.00. The times we spoke you seemed very understanding. Communication was there throughout the transport and we do offer 24/7 customer service that you can reach us any day anytime morning or night. Transporting over 800 cars a month we strive to make every single order a care free experience, just look through our 1000 plus 5 star review compared to ONLY 15 negative in two years. A unhappy customer is a rare occurrence and when this happens we go above and beyond to make it right. Thank you Dave Pein 888-325-1899
