To all concerned,

Moving my 1995 F350 Crew Cab across the country was a challenge I was little prepared for. ECC did do a good job helping me get this done. Pete, the customer service crew, and the driver were all courteous and honest. Difficulties arose communicating the specifics of my truck in relation to the limitations of the moving trucks available to ECC. My truck has a lift kit, and oversized tires. I was unaware how that would require a specific type of mover to take the job. Lesson learned. However, this added significantly more time to getting the move completed. Yes, it was a rough winter and this impacted logistics operations; but, I feel the process could have moved along more quickly had I known the limitations of ECC's haulers. This, unfortunately, took of bit of "discovery learning" and resulted in frustration on my part.
Truck arrived in good condition except for a dent and scratch on the passenger side on the panel over the wheel. The driver explained that the truck slipped in icy conditions as they were loading/cross-loading and it hit a tree/tree branch nearby. I was thankful for his honesty, but disappointed because the truck was in incredible condition before this. He annotated the damage accurately on the vehicle diagram paperwork, and now I need to look at my options on how to go about getting it fixed.

Overall, ECC accomplished my move just slightly above average of what I expect. They were patient ...but, so was I. I've had worse experiences, so I want to emphasize the positives here. That said, a little constructive criticism is in order. I would recommend them / use them again under two conditions:

1. Know the "curve balls" your customers may throw your way so you can help them. I explained that my truck was big - 23 ft long, and had a lift kit. I didn't have exacts on the height of the lift kit or the tires and didn't realize that would be an issue. If ECC takes a minute to ask (tee up) those types of questions of the customer, the process will undoubtedly run smoother.

2. Keep the customer's vehicle safe. I understand the weather was unforgiving...but someone hired by ECC hit a tree with my truck.

Sincerely,
CM Duhe'

P.S. I require no "incentives/incentive calls" to alter my review. I only request that ECC address my concerns and strive to improve their overall operations and procedures.
