Recently my husband purchased an 1967 Ford F-100 out of California through and EBay Auction. Once he 'won' the truck; he asked me to arrange shipping to bring it to our home in Upstate New York. I was slightly overwhelmed with this task until I was contacted by Brett from American Car Transporters. He gave me quote and said all he needed was a timeframe for pick up. I had received other calls as well, but chose to go with Brett as he was upfront from the beginning with information and possible scenarios.

Once I gave Brett our available pickup date information - the process started very quickly and before we knew it our truck was getting loaded. Unfortunately our newly purchased running truck became a not running truck and the first trucking company sent for pick up was unable to fulfill transport. This happened late on a Saturday night and we were informed by the seller of the truck of our new issue. I immediately sent an e-mail to Brett knowing he would not receive it until Monday morning. After a long weekend of worrying about how we would get the truck moved, Brett called me to clarify the information I gave him from my email and started making additional calls to get a better idea of what occurred at pickup in California.

When we all had a full picture of the newly discovered condition of the truck I was concerned that we would have to start all over again. Brett quickly put my concerns to rest as he explained that he would just have to find another company that had a wench; however it would cost and extra $100 as that is considered extra work. My husband and I were thrilled by this information including the additional cost as we expected it to be much more than that. We were given a 10 day time frame and told we could contact with questions if need be. Around day 5 we were started wondering what the timing would be as we needed to be able to check our schedules and ensure one of us was home upon delivery. Brett was quick to respond and our new truck was just 2 days away.

From the beginning of the auction process I worried about how we would bring this truck home if we won it. Brett's time and attention to every detail and road block that came up made this process much easier on me. I highly recommend using American Car Transporters Inc. - they will get your vehicle from point A to point B efficiently no matter what circumstances arise.
