| Good Broker, But late pickup and delivery |
I selected Hilton after searching reviews on this site, as well as checking with the BBB, etc. Overall, I was pleased with the service that Hilton provided, particularly with the fact that they were able to find a trucker to pick my car up on my desired date - which was a great help - and the fact that they were one of the most cost-effective brokers. In general, they were also responsive in returning calls and in resolving issues.
Where I was somewhat unhappy was with the trucker who was contracted to pick up the car. When I spoke with him, and ultimately met him, he was competent and hustling to get the car delivered as promised. However, he was VERY late picking up the car from the time that he had promised (promised to pick up at 12 noon and ultimately he picked it up some time late that night. I was forced to just leave the car with the key under the mat, as I had to catch a plane that evening.). When I tried to call him to get a status update, he didn't answer, adn there was no way to leave him a message. He was likewise very late (12 hours late) on the deivery, but that wasn't as much of an inconvenience to me.
