Don't EVER use this company. They outsource the job to private operators, who do not pick up on time. Our car was damaged in transit and the private operator refused to pay, even though they admitted that the damage was their fault - in fact they told us up front about the damage. When we kept calling to speak with the claims person he was never available - we were told that he was "in court" - do I need to say anymore!!! Eventually they told us to take them to court, because they were never going to pay.

When I called Cross Country Auto Transport to seek their advice and help they were not interested in doing anything. In fact they admitted that there had been numerous complaints about the carrier but 1. there was nothing they could or would do and 2. no, they were not planning to stop using this provider. CCAT were only interested in getting their $. They were very good upfront when it came to getting your business but once you had paid them (which you have to do upfront) they don't want to deal with you. When the provider did not arrive on the due date to pick up our car (he as 3 days late !) they wouldn't help us.

Seriously, give you car to a complete stranger and let them drive it to where ever it needs to go. You have a better chance of getting it there on time and in one piece.

In the case of Jim thats not true we dont use a company who would damage his car again.And accidents do happen and the haulers have insurance and we help our customers to the best that we can .We have more than 1000 cars transpoted a week so a couple of bad reviews is like nothing sice the ratio is so high.Some customers sometimes dont notice that weather is a act of g-d that we cant help and yeah you might be delayed a day or two it happens and we are human just like everyone else
