Be aware! DO NOT pay anything until the driver comes to pick up your car. There are companies out there that will not charge you anything until your car is picked up by the driver. I needed my car to be transported from CA to TX. I filled out my info online and got different quotes from different companies. iEZship was the cheapest so I decided to use them. They quoted me $700 and also assured me that my total from broker fee to ship my car from CA to Tx is only $700 when I ask the the agent. They have me signed a contract saying your total $700 deposit $160 first after driver dropped off your car to TX you pay him cash $540. The top of the contract written in big letters saying my TOTAL $700 not (estimated total). On the day that the driver was suppose to pick my car. The agent text me saying the driver is available to pick up my car in a few hours is that ok with you? After that text she texted again saying the driver need to cancel one pickup to arrange the pickup for my car I need to pay $1500 total for this shipping. I told her that I can wait for another day for them to pick up my car but I am not going to pay more then what we agreed upon which is $700. She then said you know the industry and fuel price is touching the sky, I am sorry, but If your company know the fuel price is touching the sky then you shouldn't be quoting people $700 and the day of pick up surprised to be more then double the total. i do not know how car shipping industry work. I sign the contract by trust because on the contract clearly said total $700. I told them if they can't do it for $700 then just give me a refund and I will find someone else. She then send me a very small portion at the very bottom of the contract with their cancellation policy. Which they can only refund me 50% of my $160 deposit. I told her please try to make this right I do not want to escalate just give me a full refund since I didn't get the service I promised. Then the supervisor called me and said he will put out of his pocket $200 if I agreed to pay in total of $1300 so fishy and of course I didn't accept it. Now I have to call my bank to dispute the charge and my car is still here.
