Be cautious when dealing with this company

My first experience with Yellowfin was excellent. They picked up the car as expected and it arrived on time. So when I had another vehicle that I needed to transport, they were my first thought. I contacted them and Danielle gave me an excellent price as she had done with my first transport through them. She told me that she dispatch somebody for the job. I called back and Asked her to cancel it because the trailer was not ready. She told me that she had already sent the job out but she would cancel it but it looks bad. I told her I will call her when it’s ready. The second contact when the trailer was ready sheasked for a $250 deposit which I gave to them. She said she dispatched someone again. she stated she had a driver that was able to pick up the trailer. Supposedly that driver didn’t have the correct hitch to pull the trailer when he was at copart. However the trailer was supposed to be moved on a flatbed. She told me that the driver would be back the next day to pick up the trailer from the auction because you need to make an appointment. The driver never came back and Danielle wasn’t able to get someone else. Nonetheless Danielle pretend it that she could possibly get a driver. Every day the trailer was not picked up it cost Storage fees from Copart. I ended up spending an extra $500 in storage fees waiting on Danielle to find a driver that she never found or the driver to show up that wasn’t coming. I simply asked Daniel to give me back my deposit of 250 not the storage fees. She Began ignoring my text messages and not responding when I ask for a refund. I called +1 (888) 223-5038. This is the company’s phone number. I was told on several occasions that the message was going to be passed onto supervisor and they should be responding back to me. I was also told that I was going to receive a refund which I have not as of this Review. I would not recommend this company based on my second experience. They were great when everything went right but when it Didn’t is when all the problems became apparent. They definitely have good pricing but be cautious should you use them and you have a problem.

Thank you, Errolynn, for reaching out regarding your recent experience with our service. Our records of your text communication with your Yellowfin Advisor show a slightly different picture to the scenario depicted in your review. Although the first Carrier did indeed arrive at Copart on May 31st without the appropriate equipment, Danielle immediately jumped into action to find a replacement Carrier for your shipment. However, on June 2nd (merely two days later) you notified her that you wanted to cancel your order. It is standard industry practice that a customer’s order can be cancelled at any time and without incurring cancellation fees so long as the order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. Once your order is accepted by a Carrier, you are provided with an estimated pickup date. Pickup dates can never be guaranteed in this industry and the customer is always informed about this. However, at Yellowfin, we do guarantee you a full refund if, in your scenario, we fail to provide a replacement transport solution within a maximum of 7 days from your requested pickup date (it generally only takes between 1 and 3 days). Unfortunately, as you insisted on cancelling your order prior to the expiration of this pickup window you were no longer eligible for refund. We are concerned, however, to hear your Advisor did not respond to your text messages enquiring about our refund policy. This will certainly be thoroughly investigated and we hope you will accept our sincerest apologies in this regard. The phone records for our company’s direct line does not, however, indicate any incoming calls from you until June 23rd. At this point our Customer Services department forwarded your request for refund to our Accounts department for evaluation. We received notification of this review that same day.
