Courteous, but poor service

I made arrangements with Worry Free Transport to move a car for my father from NJ to FL. We were very disappointed with the service we received. The first available pickup date was July 13. I was told the typical time required for pickup would be 3-10 business days. After 10 days went by, I called to inform Worry Free that if they could not make the pickup by July 29th, it would have to be put on hold until August 6 (about 1 week). After returning from vacation, I waited patiently for a call to schedule a pickup. I called a few times and each time I was told that they were still trying to locate a driver. Weeks went by with no pickup. The last call I made was on September 14. The person I talked to seemed a bit concerned that it had been so long since the original pickup date. It was at that point that the representative from Worry Free suggested the best thing to do would be refund the deposit money. I agreed and was waiting for my next credit card statement to confirm the refund had been processed. On September 29, a driver contacted my father to schedule a pickup that same day. We were confused because we were expecting a refund. At this point, we were just excited to finally get the car moved, so we went forward with the pickup. It is a good thing we hadn't arranged for another transport company to move the car! The driver was very professional and got the car down to Florida very quickly. That was the only part of the process that kept me from giving this company the lowest possible rating. In the end the car was transported, but there is no way anyone should have to wait that long. I will personally never use Worry Free Transport again.

Mr. Willever did contract with us to move his vehicle. This being the busiest time of the year (which he was told) for moves to FL it sometimes takes longer than the 10 business days. He did put the vehicle on hold for a week. During this time we found 2 drivers but they could not pickup during that timeframe. Prior to refunding his deposit a driver called in to pick his vehicle up. He seemed fine with that and not at as upset as this review suggests. We are sorry it took longer to get Mr. Willever's vehicle to him but we are glad it arrived safely. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this or any other matter.
