Very Poor Experience

While I don't doubt you could have a fine experience shipping your car with this vendor, if there is even a chance that your experience is like mine, I would reccomend you do not ship with this compnay.

I read reviews of Worry Free Auto prior to booking. They had competitive pricing, and descent reviews which is what confirmed my booking for me.

I consider myself to have fair standards of acceptable business. When I'm given information, I expect that it would be clear. When I called prior to booking, they gave me the range of 1-10 business days. They did not tell me that was a "typical" time of pick-up and there is no guarantee. I called 1-2 times per week checking on the ship time. On the 9th business day I called to confirm that the order would be picked up that Tuesday (business day 10) and the woman on the phone confirmed. When I did not hear anything on Tuesday, I called back. When I spoke with a representative she immediately told me she would check into it and call me back. I received no call-back, and then left two messages asking them to call to let me know the status. On the 11th day I called once more, and the woman on the phone told me her manager would call me back, but assured me I would receive at minimum a $50 refund. When the manager called back, she was condescending and terribly rude. I was keeping a reasonable tone, and she would say things mid-conversation such as "I can't sit here and argue with you all day...there are other calls coming in!" and even with the lovely response to my ask for a refund of by telling me it wasn't possible because "This isn't Disneyland!". She was highly unprofessional.

She also told me I could not get the promised refund because it was after the 10 business days (mind you on the 10th business day I called 3+ times with no call-back). Eventually she said she could refund the $105 deposit however they would then not pick-up the car. At that point I could not accomodate an additional 10 day wait time from a different company.

When I called today as I had not received the $50 refund, the woman on the phone told me they would not be refunding and I may have been misinformed. She "assured" me by telling me that they just fired quite a few people, so one of them may be responsible for giving me incorrect information. She refused to refund even the $50.

In short - my experience was far sub-par. The representatives' information was unclear, the information on the ranges was unclear, their customer service is highly unprofessional, and they have no flexibility to be accountable for the word of their representatives. I can't stress enough the headache I received from this experience; if I knew what I had signed up for I would have spend the additional money to ship elsewhere!

Jamie Baer contrancted with us to move her vehicle from AZ to IL. The "NORMAL" window for pickup is within 10 business days. On the 10th business day, Jamie was offered a full refund of her $100.00 deposit. She refused saying she still needed the vehicle moved. We added the deposit back into to the total paid to the driver as a "bonus" to get the car picked up. Her car was picked up on day 12 (which she agreed to) but at that time wanted her deposit refunded. This is not possible as it had already been paid to the driver. Also, we do not pay for rental car. This is clearly stated in our terms and conditions. A copy of which can be faxed. We are very sorry that Jamie's vehicle took 2 extra days to be picked up but at all she told us go forward with the move as it was. If anyone wishes to discuss this matter, please call 888-243-0082. Thank you, Diane, Owner
