I chose Wise after submitting a request for quotes and then researching the companies online in order to pick a reputable company. I went with Wise because they were based out of California and California tends to have stricter enforcement of consumer protection laws than any other state. I was quoted a price of $900 from which Wise would take $150 as their brokerage fee. This meant that Wise was soliciting carriers to take my Jeep from Las Vegas to DC for only $750. Because of this low ball estimate it meant that my Jeep was not picked up in 5 days but rather 10 days. After the original 5 days had elapsed Wise wised up and decided to drop $50 from their brokerage fee and increase the payment to the carrier to $800. Right Way Auto picked up my Jeep 4 days later and the Jeep got here in great condition after a 6 day trip from Vegas to DC.

Wise should be more up front when they are at the contract stage of the agreement. I was told that Vegas to DC was a popular route so it would be easy to get a carrier- this was not true. They should be more flexible in their quotes if they are having trouble finding a carrier. I would have been willing to pay $100-150 more if that meant that my Jeep would have been picked up within the original window. They should attempt to work with their customers in order to get the result their customers want.

Overall, I was pleased with Wise since they did knock down their take in the deal in order to expedite the process. I was not pleased with the fact that it took them so long to do it and that they did not call me in order to work with me to try to get the car to me sooner.
