I chose Viking Auto Transport on a recommendation from a friend. When I placed the order Tony immediately called me and followed up the order, and charged my credit card. I received the order information from then saying that my car had an estimated pickup date of 4/11/2012 and to allow a 2 day window. The 2 days came and went and no truck had been procured. I contacted Tony and asked for an update on the situation, he responded asking for another 24-48 hours to find a truck. The way auto transport brokers work is: get contacted by customer, give a quote to said customer, post to a national dispatch board named Central Dispatch, wait (hope) for carrier to contact them and set up the pickup of the vehicle. In this case Viking Auto Transport underquoted me by about $150 which I thought was awesome because it would save me money. After a little more digging I came to understand how auto transport brokers function (as described above) and realized that no driver in their right mind would transport my vehicle across country for the agreed upon price. I canceled my order with Viking and placed another order with a different company who would give me a realistic price and would be able to provide better service. Viking is no longer responding to my emails requesting a refund since they were not able to provide the service they offer and as of today hasn't issued a refund. Charge has been disputed through my credit card company and I suspect that they may have as hard of a time getting in touch with Viking as I have. If you receive a quote that is quite a bit less than other companies are quoting, be aware that there is a large possibility that your vehicle will never be picked up for that price.

Appalled that you would give us a negative review. It says that we are unreliable but yes, we found two drivers. Avalon Trucking and Nationwide Carriers. Customer did not pay for the vehicle therefore the seller did not want to release it. So we did keep his deposit because of the two trips for wasted time, money, and gas. Customer was well aware of this order and refused to put in another order when he finally paid for the vehicle so we cancelled the order and parted ways
