I work all over so I obviously travel a lot. Was down in Port Lavaca, Texas and headed home to Florida. A truck caught fire, burned to the ground on I-10 East between Vidor and Orange about an hour from the Louisiana line. Traffic began to move and my Ford Exploder didn't. Pushed off the side of the road, U-Haul dicked me around for 45 min to tell me they didn't have what I needed to pull my truck home in stock. Called an auto transport company, set up a plan. I spent $150 towing my inoperable SUV back to Beaumont and a hotel. Original plan, get truck on carrier, fly home, fix in my garage. Instead, spent 3 nights in hotels, truck wasn't picked up 6 days later, paid $750 for a rented Dodge Grand Caravan, drove home. After six days, the hotel manager advised me I had 48 hrs to pick it up or they'd have to two it. I'd left the keys with the front desk.

I advertised the SUV's condition, location, destination and my contact info.

My cell exploded as did my email. One stood out. I checked the background on all of them, their yelp reviews, their websites...

Upscale/Carlos explained a lot about how this business works and why it was taking so long for the original carrier I'd contacted to pick it up. Carlos assured me his company had drivers ready to go and could have the SUV off the hotel property long before the 48 hrs were up.

The driver had my SUV on his truck and off the property with plenty of time to spare, drove it to my driveway, helped me get it up into my slightly uphill inclined driveway. These guys rock. They do what they say they'll do and no surprises, kept in contact with me all the way with SMS/Text messages, emails, phone calls.

Bottom line, I ever get myself in a similar jam, Upscale is who I'll call and I'll call them first. They got it done.
