I got Ultimate Transports contact info from a friend who has a trucker friend. I thought it must be a reputable company if a trucker was recommending them. So I gave a call. Dana was the gal that helped me figure out if it was the right fit for me. She was kind, knowledgable and efficient. She told me exactly what I needed to do so she could figure out the quote. She was so friendly and helpful, I just wanted to get everything she needed done as fast as I could. and get back to her. She needed numbers for the weight and size of the tractor along with the other 3 pieces of equipment I wanted to come with the tractor. I got everything she needed and when I called her back with the info, she had the quote within minutes. It was so reasonable, I said ok on the spot. I had done 5 or 6 other inquiries from other companies and those quotes had a significant different range. Ultimate was the lowest quote and Dana was so "on it" that I knew this was the company to go with. My tractor was "residing" at some friends in Fort Collins and the tractor was coming to NC. My friends called me when Darren, the trucker, got there. That was an a Wednesday.. He had been in contact with her so she knew just when he would arrive and the loading happened easily. I could see from her photos that he had really tied everything down super well for the long haul. I appreciated that. The guesstimate arrival time to NC was to be the next Monday. However, I got a call from Darren on Friday saying he'd be delivering it on Sat!! So he had made really good time! Darren was just so friendly! We chatted away as we got the tractor unloaded and had a wonderful exchange. He did his job well and in good time. I love my tractor so I was really glad to see it get here safe. And to have the whole experience be so kind and friendly and well done was important to me. I thank Dana, Darren and Vance for getting my tractor here safely but most importantly for helping me with kindness and grace...even though it was a business transaction. Thank you!
