False promises and terrible customer service

Wow, I was deceived. First, like most of you this was my first time shipping a car. After googling car transport services I found I had to eventually input my email and phone number in just to get a quote. BOOM queue endless emails, texts and calls from various car brokers (which I didn't even know existed until that day). I eventually landed on Ultimate Transport 123 because their quote was in the middle of the road so I picked up the phone and ended up talking to Brian with extension 992. Like any salesman he trashes competition and talks up his business with a "price match guarantee" (shoulda got that in writing but at this point I was inundated with contacts) so I signed a contract 3/5/21 for pickup 3/11/21. Quickly I find an eager competitor that's willing to write up a contract. I bring it to Brian's attention and he tells me he'll look at it and get back to me. Then I was ghosted. Pull the records, I called at a minimum 3 different times leaving voicemails attempting to follow up but I received zero response from Brian. Now this whole deal feels shady so like a responsible consumer I call the day prior to my pickup 3/10/21 to see if I have a driver yet. Customer service says that they have a driver and they are awaiting him to sign his end so complete the order. So wait till tomorrow, alright, not the way I imagined the ordeal going but perhaps the driver is old school and waits last minute. Now it's the morning of pickup, I call, "Do I have a driver?" Same story, "still waiting for the driver to sign the contract." Ok this is odd, "Please call me in an hour to let me know what's happening." Over an hour passes. I call back, same response.... just wait. My day is ruined, the move is now ruined, I'll have no car but maybe there will be a hail mary play and a driver will show last minute, perhaps his battery died? Nope. No driver, no call. I call back and beg customer service for help. They wouldn't even pass me up the line to a supervisor or colleague. The day has ended and I still have no car, I have exhaustion, disappointment, and loathing. I get it the contract says 10 days but when a salesperson says they'll make the pickup happen and put it in a contract you kinda believe them. 1 star for shady business, terrible communication, and dumpy customer service experience. Despite my best efforts I was hoodwinked.
