Horrible service

We made a reservation/appointment in late April of 2012 to have my car picked up and transported cross country in late May. They were given a full month to find a driver for the price that was quoted ($940). We paid a $150 retainer fee.

Adam, the person we were in contact with, never responded to us until several angry emails 3 weeks later asking what the hell was going on with our order. He finally got back to us saying that he was having trouble finding a driver for the transport and told us we would need to upgrade (aka pay more money) to have the transport guaranteed for the date that we needed. We told Adam that we would pay the driver an extra $150 or so without having to "upgrade", as long as the driver was able to pick up our car on time. Adam was incredibly hard to reach via both phone and email, and only after we offered to pay a total of $1300 ($350 more than what was originally quoted) was he able to "find a driver".

He was incredibly slow to give us the driver's contact information and couldn't even tell us what time or day the driver was actually coming. There was a ton of miscommunication in which Adam failed to give the driver my phone number and information, and only via direct contact with the DRIVER was I able to sort things out and get my car picked up. Adam did more to hinder the process than help it. He also gave the driver the wrong contact phone number for the car drop-off.

I will NEVER EVER use US Direct Auto again. Their service was ridiculous and horrible.
