Bait and switch company buyers beware

I have a contracted sign for $800 for shipping my truck from Fl to Ca. Was told to put down $200 deposit first and pay remaining $600 to driver upon delivery. On day of pick up, I called the transport company multiple times and got no response. Finally got a response after multiple tries and was told the agent handling my account,Adam Tran, was out due to medical emergency and another agent is handling my account. The new agent Mike Warren told me that the truck would be pick up by 5:00pm and the driver would call me an hour before pickup. Waited all day, come around 2:51 still no one has call. Call the company and was told that no driver was available until 2 days later and the price is now $1400 upon delivery to the driver in addition to the $200 deposit. It is now $1600 instead of the $800 that was initially sign previously. Since they didn’t come as promised on the date of pickup and the price being double, they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee because I didn’t want it shipped 2 days later at double the contracted price. At this point, I was fed up and since they broke the contract by not coming on the day that was agreed upon, I ask for the $200 deposit back. I was threaten by Brian the supervisor that they have a legal team that will be able to take the money from my credit card, the one that I gave them for the deposit, if I decide to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I would stay clear away from this company. Very dishonest and poor customer service. I wish I have read all the bad reviews about this company on the BBB website before booking. I hope by posting this, I help someone from going through the same frustration that I have experienced. Not only were these people from this company rude, they all have a thick Indian accent, which makes them hard to understand. You have been warned, stay clear.
