My truck was an ebay purchase, and the owner of the transport company was awesome to talk to and very understanding to all my needs. He even arranged to keep the truck at his house until a delivery truck was available. even though I am a complete stranger. Delivery from Montana into Canada was very quick and there were no delays at the border, but (from what I was told) their carrier in Canada is very slow, hard to get a hold of and tends to have a few vehicles backed up regularly. So this is when the waiting took place. I placed a large number of calls and e-mails to them, and was told that delivery would be within a couple days and I was disappointed like this about 3 times. Finally i was told that there delivery truck had broken down and had to bring in another from Vancouver. Within a day my truck was delivered. I do want to point out that I was told by the owner of turbo auto transport is a US company and have their Canadian deliveries sort of subcontracted to a different carrier. So although the responsibility is still on Turbo I do feel that the bad management was entirely the Canadian Carrier. I would definitely do business again but would be more aggressive to have a guaranteed delivery date. As far as cost, I did think the cost was high but after researching all other carriers I was quoted considerably higher, so that being said I do feel I got a very fair price.
