We attempted to have our vehicle shipped by this company only to be left in a bind at the last minute.

My husband and I are both active duty and needed to have one of our vehicles shipped for a permanent change of station. We decided to go with Trusty Transport due to their claim of being military friendly and having years of experience.

After receiving their quote, I inquired about the military discount they claim they offer via email. Their response - “Not out of Wyoming. We are low on this to begin with.” Not Sir or Ma’am, or Thanks for your understanding please contact us if you have further questions, just two sentences. That should have been our first red flag.

Despite their false ad about a military discount and unprofessional communication, we made an appointment for them to pick up our vehicle for shipment- three weeks in advance of when we were supposed to leave the state. The day before they were supposed to pick up our vehicle we hadn’t heard from them. We called to find out what time they were coming only to find out they weren’t. Robert told us that “his dad was down at the desk bitching about it this morning because they didn’t have a driver scheduled” and that “nobody wants to drive to Wyoming in the winter during the holidays.” Rather than call us in advance and let us know there might be issues they did NOTHING. Who knows if they would have called at all.

Unacceptable! We asked what they were going to do to fix it and were told they’d call us back. We ended up having to leave our vehicle behind with a relative because of their incompetence. We finally got a call back though - TWO WEEKS LATER! Military moves are hard enough- unless you want added stress DO NOT go with this company!

We were very low on this and couldn't discount farther. Customer said "we were $300 to $400 cheaper than everybody else" but wanted even more off. Again, use a CARRIER not a BROKER, save money. We only go into Wyoming once a week. Just not enough freight to fill a truck. I told her this. Her week of loading it was 4 degrees with 23 mph winds, snow, ice. Feel like temperature negative 8 degrees. You can't load cars in that. Double decker car haulers with high winds and ice are very dangerous for jack knifing. I personally told her we were rerouting the truck to a warmer climate and it would be another week and she could try hiring somebody else. We do not take a deposit so she is free to do whatever she wants. Her response "if it is so dangerous will anybody send a truck in and if so they want $350 more and a $200 deposit that is not refundable" I can not force a driver to go into dangerous conditions. There is no basis for this review. Do you really want us to drive thru sleet and hail with your car ?
