Everything went to plan. I made a deal with Bill on Friday, and the car (2009 Corvette) was picked up Sunday morning by S&B in Ohio. The car was loaded lower deck, right behind the cab, which is a great protected spot that does not require the car to be moved until it is dropped off. The driver informed me the day before of the 4 hr time window to expect the car on Wed morning. Delivery was right on time in the early end of that window. He called 45 min before arriving. Bill was all over the event by calling and making sure that delivery had taken place and that I was satisfied. Other than the expected dirt, the car was perfect. The driver (Chris) was very carefull with the car, and even jumped the battery (damn corvettes!) to get it off the truck. I paid a fair price to get the car picked up quickly at this time of year. Drivers will usually ask you to meet them somewhere convient to them to get the car, but as I paid for "door to door", and had no license tag to move the car, I asked for him to drop it at my house. The driver didn't bitch about it, so I gave him cold water and a $50 tip for that and to cover his crap with jumping the battery. If you deal with Transport Connection, you will find that Bill is dead serious about his business and advocating on your behalf. If something goes wrong or even seems to be, he will come right off the chain and quickly set things straight. He's a rather colorful dude.
