These people were very friendly and polite to deal with but that's where the good times end. The carrier that Top Notch chose was absolutely abysmal and they made no effort to help us or remedy the situation. The vehicle was a classic car being stored at my Mother in Law's home, she is a teacher who is retiring this year and she gets up very early in the morning to goto work. I made it clear to Becky that she could accommodate a pickup that was early in the morning, at almost anytime during the day or in the early evening, a large window I thought. The carrier was supposed to pick the car up at 8PM, they called back the night of pickup to say it would be 1 - 2 AM. When my mother in law protested the driver suggested that they would send a 'friend' over to pick up the keys in advance so she wouldn't have to wait up. Riggggghtt, like I'm going to have some sketchy random dude go over to my elderly mother in law's house at night to pick up the keys to my collectible car with no paperwork, receipts or anything...wtf? I was simply floored by the complete lack of professionalism. The driver also spoke next to no English and would not give me a solid location he was going to drop off in, other than to say it was probably going to be 30 miles away in NJ (I live in Manhattan and have no other car and don't know Jersey at all). I'm not sure who these jokers were but the fact that Top Notch does business with these types suggests that they don't much give a damn about the actual customer, they just go with whoever they can make a buck off of. Obviously I refused their service and told them to get lost but when I contacted Top Notch about it via email, they apologized and then proceeded to ignore all my emails to find another carrier. Here's a little advice, stay away from these brokers, they don't give a damn about you or your car, try to work directly with a carrier, you'll get a better rate and much better service.
