Reading about the car transport business is terrifying, with horror stories everywhere. Having purchased a pristine collector car 350 miles away in the dead of winter, though, I had no choice, I needed enclosed transport. I'm not sure how I stumbled onto Ron, but it was clear he operated a little differently. He was open and transparent about what he could and could not do. Mine was an unusual east-west route where most right now are north-south. Ron answered every question with responses that made sense to me. He explained how the posting system works, on how different routes are better on some days than others, even the time of day to expect a "hit" on my route. He nailed it - I got the transport, from a great shipper out of Rhode Island, for a price below the maximum I authorized Ron to pay. The shipper arrived exactly on time. The seller videoed as the car was loaded up. Right on time, the shipper arrived, unloaded my immaculate vehicle, and I paid him. Easy as pie. I recommend Ron because he understands that, while he moves many vehicles a week, most of his clients do not. We are nervous, anxious, even suspicious...and he addresses that head-on with transparency. That is what I liked best. He delivered a great shipper, on time and under budget, but mostly he treated me and my car as if we were the most important thing going on in his day. That is why I recommend Ron.
