After doing hours of research about Auto Transport, and recieving about 50 different Quotes from all ranges of prices, and reading the reviews on Transport Reviews.Com, I selected Suncoast Auto Transport. I recieved a Quote from Neal Perkins, of 1150.00,for Door to Door Transport of my Son's 1992 Toyota Pickup, from Parsonsburg MD, to Fort Lewis WA, the Army Base, where my Son is Stationed.I signed a contract with Neal on 5/10/2011. After waiting about 1 week, I called Neal, and also Customer Service, but had to leave a message to call me back.I had informed Neal, that I wanted this transport done ASAP. After almost 2 weeks, and no call from Neal I called and Raised the price to 1200.00, which was 1100.00 for the carrier and 100.00 for Suncoast. I was assured that should move it. Still no calls.Again after no calls for a few days I called Neal and said I would meet a Carrier on the Western side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which is about 105 miles from my Location, and was assured by Neal that it should absolutely get assigned a carrier soon.I canceled the contract with Neal on 6/02/2011, after 23 days. The only calls I recieved from Neal, were after I had requested a call back, first. Every time I called I got their voicemail.I Signed a contract with Above the Rest Transport on 6/03/2011,and a carrier picked up my Son's Truck on 6/07/2011. I would never use Suncoast again, as I wasted 23 Days waiting for Suncoast to do something. Neal never called with any offers from Carriers,or to tell me anything. If you want your vehicle moved, dont depend on Suncoast,It will not happen. They were a total waste of time. The only thing they did was to not charge my credit card their Deposit

Each and every one of our customers are informed and educated on how this industry works. Price affects the amount of time it takes vehicles to be picked up. This information is given in detail on our quotes in writing, at time of booking over the phone, and also in status emails that are sent to our customers after booking with us. Our representatives work with each customer and suggest the standard rate for each particular route but we also are willing to accommodate our customers who are not comfortable paying the standard rate by trying to get their vehicle transported for a lower cost. Our customers are told that by doing this, it may take longer for their vehicle to be picked up and if they have specific dates or a tight schedule they should stick to the standard rate. This customer was told that this particular route was a difficult route to find a carrier at any price below standard but we did our very best to find a carrier to accept the vehicle at that price. After he realized that it was indeed priced too low he raised the offer and changed the pickup location. Unfortunately, once he made these changes he canceled almost immediately and went with another company who charged him more money. Suncoast would have had no problem locating a carrier for him within his desired timeframe if the customer would have taken our professional advice regarding location and pricing from the get go.
