First time transporting, read many reviews before choosing

Hi All,

We read many reviews before settling on Stateway. Their record was not perfect but instead very good. I would have been suspicious of anyone with perfect rating from all customers and was still in business. The nature of transporting cargo is that from time to time things may and or will happen and what is important is how problems are handled. I was satisfied in my reading that Stateway would handle a problem if one arose. (fortunately I didn't need to verify that assumption but my interaction with them leads me to believe I was safe in the belief.)

The actual transport company that is used by Stateway is beyond our control and we need to trust that they are professionals in who they chose and why they choose them. We contract with Stateway and ultimately they're the ones responsible regardless. FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS, you're contracting with them, not their selected transport company. In our case they used Highline transport and we were well satisfied.

The driver was extremely thorough in his pre-transport inspection. He identified and noted countless minor imperfections in the paint, body, and glass. This was very satisfying as it spoke to his understanding the care of the vehicle was his responsibility and therefore documentation its original condition was critical to his doing a good job and clarification of damage should a dispute arise. His care in moving the various vehicles was excellent and left me satisfied that negligence would not be an issue in our transport. Methodical was the thought that came to mind as we watched him adjust the positions of the cars.

The transport was timely, within contract and expectations. I'd use them again. Yes, Rolondo was a day later arriving in Florida than he had planned but having driven long distance and professionally myself I felt one day in a cross country was completely understandable. and was no cause for concern. We were aware of the delay. There price was in keeping with the majority of bidders but above a couple of low-ball bidders. As a contractors we recognize that the lowest price is not always the best price and therefore sought a combination of good reviews and reasonable price.


We'd use them again.
