After receiving hundreds of offers to move my car and talking with several companies, I went with the middle priced offer from State 2 State Auto Transport. After talking to JP Pier, I was assured, repeatedly and enthusiastically by JP that my car would be picked up in 1-3 days. State 2 State's website FAQs state vehicles will be picked up in 5-8 business days (apparently JP hasn't read the FAQs page). After numerous emails back and forth over the past week with Alina from Customer Service, it has been determined: A) State 2 State has no idea when my car is going to be picked up and therefore no idea when my car is going to be delivered and B) State 2 State's statements on their FAQs website (see here: http://state2stateautotransport.com/faq.html) are false.

I am writing this review, PRIOR TO MY CAR BEING PICKED UP OR DELIVERED, because I was told via phone conversations (at least two) with JP my car would be picked up in 1-3 days from the date of booking with State 2 State (not 1-3 days from the date a driver is secured), the State 2 State FAQs state 5-8 days (it is going on 8 and NO driver has been secured), and the customer service representative (Alina) has stated to the effect State 2 State has no idea when they are going to pick up my car because they cannot find a driver.

The only reason I have not cancelled this order and gone with another company is because A) State 2 State has not charged my credit card (as they said they would not until a driver is secured) and B) it would be more of a pain in the ass to deal with another company to get my car moved.

Also, this is really an intrastate move, as it is being delivered to Ft. Campbell, KY which is on the KY/TN border.

This customer was well aware of how the industry worked and we were in full communication with him at all times while trying to confirm a driver for him. We finally were able to confirm a driver and after it was dispatched, the driver broke down with truck problems. We were in process of confirming another driver, but the customer cancelled his order with us. We were even doing the order for the customer for free with NO deposit on our end for hte delay in confirming a driver for him. Unfortunetly, sometimes drivers cant get a full load in certain areas/ locations if not enough customers moving their cars and we have to depend on these drivers to complete their loads to fullfill the customers move. We are the broker and these drivers get orders from all brokers in the USA to fill their loads. We understand the customers frustration but we did all we could to move his car for him in a timely manner and even worked on the order for free for him since we added our deposit portion to confirm a driver faster for him.
