DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! My interaction with them was abominable. I was moving from NY to CA and my brother had arranged the service with Speedy Auto Transport, as their price was fair and David was able to schedule a pick-up date that worked for me. David told me that the driver would contact me to confirm a more specific time and meeting location. However, the day scheduled for the car hand-off rolled around, and the driver still had not contacted me. Still trusting that all would work out, I let David know and headed toward the place anyway in order to beat traffic. I waited for a while at the meeting spot, but David was not able to reach the driver by phone, nor was he able to find a replacement driver before the end of the day. He assured me that he'd find a replacement driver for the next day. Because I was set to fly to CA that next day, I didn't know what else to do with so little time. The next morning David did indeed find a replacement driver, but he also said that because it was so last-minute, the driver was asking for $200 more dollars. I was absolutely livid. I looked online and found that Speedy had an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau's website (that'll teach me not to check beforehand!). I canceled my service with Speedy Auto Transport and I entered into near crisis-mode, as time before I had to leave for the airport was running out. Luckily, I found a different service through my panicked Google search and things worked out beautifully with the other company. Even so, I'm still really annoyed about even having to resort to the last-minute switch in the first place.
