Specialty Mobile Systems (SMS) was as good as their reviews. Called them on 8/30/06, gave them the order. On 9/5/06i they called back and said the carrier, Auggies Auto Carrier (AAC), would pickup tommorrow with a projected delivery date of 9/11/06 in Ca. Greg, the driver, called later to confirm the date and projected time of pickedup. He also wanted to load the car in a shopping center parking lot since it is differcult get in an out of a subdivision. I agreed to meet him at a local area shopping mall the next morning after 10am. Greg called twice the next morning to update me on his arrival time. I met him at 11:15 AM and he loaded up van and left. He contacted my son in Ca on 9/10/06 and said he would be in LA on 9/11/06. On 9/11/06 he called and said it was taking more time than he estimated to get around LA and that he would deliver the car on 9/12/06. On 9/12/06 he delivered the van with no damage. I would recomend both SMS and AAC to anyone shipping a vehicle. Greg was a very pleasant and friendly driver both from my experience and that of my son's. I choose SMS because they had excellent reviews, and the BBB site said they had resovled or administrativity closed all 6 conplaints. Some of the other companies with ***** rating did not give an address so I could not get BBB record for the company.
