I contracted on July 7th and it took 3 trucking companies until I finally got a company that would haul my car. They finally picked it up on July 18th and it was delivered on July 22nd. I was promised a pickup by the 1st company on July 13th, but the truck only had 12' left on the trailer to pick up a 19' long car. The second company never would call either myself or Speciality Mobile back. Hence a 3rd company. They gave me a July 18th pick-up & an July 20th delivery. Then when I called the trucking company, after sitting home all day waiting, I was informed that the new delivery date was the 22nd. I must admit the people at Speciality were very helpful when they were able to get information. I must commend Jason on his compassion and understanding. The vehicle was delivered intact and clean finally.

We at Specialty Mobile apologize for this customer’s experience. As a general rule we work with a 1 – 10 day window for pickup, and after pickup delivery is 7 – 14 days (the entire experience can take about 3 weeks). This process can, and many times does happen in a much quicker time frame. When a carrier is assigned (we are a carrier and a broker), they will give the estimated pickup and delivery times. Drivers will also do their best to call 12 – 24 hours in advance, in case they experience delays in route and to give the customers a better heads up on their arrival. It is not our goal to inconvenience customers with delays; and we strive to maintain communication with customers and carriers for the transport process to go as smoothly as possible.
