Like many of the people reading the site, I was a little hesitant and anxious about finding the best transporter for my car. I had read and heard about many horror stories involving damage and delivery time. After accepting the fact that unless I drove it myself there would be no guarantees, I decided to go with SMS because they had consistently good reviews. From the beginning, the staff was nice and helpful. They do subcontract out to transporters and obviously some are better than others. I worked with the owner of a transporter named Bill Conyers who was wonderful. He called me multiple times to set up the pick up time and was flexible and accomodating. He ended up picking it up on the scheduled day at 9PM at night. I watched him load the car and he told me about 7-10 days. The car was delivered in 6 days!! I chose the standard shipping (without the enclosed container). Other than a few spots (from sap I think) the car was in great condition with no scratches or dents. If you absolutely do not want any exterior blemish, then I would suggest the enclosed container.

Overall I had a wonderful experience. Everything was done professionally and correctly. Although this is but one experience, I would reccomend SMS if you are shipping and don't know which company to pick.
